If a driver update doesn't fix the issue, try rolling back to the previous driver version. You can do this in 'Printer properties' > 'Driver' tab > 'Roll Back Driver'. Also, ensure Windows Update is up-to-date. A conflicting software installation could be the root cause; consider temporarily disabling or uninstalling recently installed programs. Lastly, run the System File Checker (SFC) tool to scan for and repair corrupted system files.
