Is low ink a possible cause for the 5-blink error on my Canon MG2570S?

While the primary reason for the 5-blink error is a print head issue, very low ink levels can sometimes trigger it. The printer might misinterpret the low ink as a print head malfunction. Try replacing the ink cartridges, even if they show some ink remaining, to rule this out.
