Aside from obvious paper jams, an "error printing status" can be caused by small, hard-to-spot paper scraps lodged within the rollers or feed path, foreign objects like paperclips or staples inside the printer, or incorrectly loaded paper (e.g., too much paper, bent edges, or paper not aligned properly in the tray). Regarding supplies, critically low or empty ink cartridges (even if you only need one color for your print job), improperly seated ink cartridges, or using non-genuine or faulty third-party ink can also trigger the error.
