How do I check for port conflicts that might be causing Error 709?

Open Device Manager (search for it in the Windows search bar). Expand 'Print queues'. Right-click on your printer and select 'Properties'. Go to the 'Ports' tab. Check if any other devices are using the same port as your printer. If so, try assigning your printer to a different, unused port.
